The harbour at Banyuls. For these revised views I only used +/- 1 stop and gimp-2.9 from 2017-06-26 - at that time ufraw was still accepted as a plugin for my raw files. Here, I forgot to use the Advanced Tone Mapping plugin.
First, the camera's own jpeg, resized to 900 pixels high.
------
Second, from the raw photo at 0EV.
------
Third, add +1EV for any shadow detail.
------
Fourth, subtract 1EV for any highlight detail.
------
At last, use the "Three Exposures" filter.
------
Sixth, G'MIC Local contrast enhancement filter.
------
Seventh, use the curves tool for a bit more contrast.
------
Finally, sharpen with the GEGL Unsharp Mask.
