A summary of changes in the 20160905 release.

Bugfix - thanks to Pierre Labastie. A spurious 'i' on the
front of a filename in configure broke the bibxelatex test,
but only if no korean font had been installed. The bug is
present in the previous 2016 releases.

A summary of changes in the 20160817 release.

I reverted the changes to triangles, and therefore removed the
use of the atbegshi package. If the binary 2016 x84-linux
version of asy is used on a system which has otherwise been
built with gcc-6, this WILL result in the title appearing on its
own with the diagram on a second page. On a system wholly built
with gcc6, using asymptote from source, the behaviour is correct,
as it is also on systems using gcc5 or earlier. The current
release replaces the 20160624 release.

From ABOUT I removed the example of Article 1 of the UDHR in
Swedish using the Sweden Sans font - there is some doubt about
the licensing of this font (it is apparently intended for Swedish
official use - the first article I read apparently failed to
mention 'official') - and it might be available free only for
personal non-commercial use. Removed because of the license
question.

A summary of changes in the 20160624 release.

Although the cylinder and triangles tests were working fine with
binary texlive 2016 on LFS-7.9, on a development system using
gcc-6.1 for the system libraries cylinder hung and triangles put
the description on a first page with the picture on a second page.

1.For cylinder, I removed redundant and/or commented code, and
added -V to the asy invocation.

2. For triangles, I made the title into a label on the diagram
and then added the atbegshi package to suppress the now-empty
first page.

A summary of changes in the 20160523 release.

1. I was getting failures with biber-2.4 (normal completion but
no bibliography). Use pdftotext to test for this. As usual,
the problem turned out to be user error (unmatched version of
   biblatex).

2. Replaced the 2D asy test with one which is all my own work.
The original one is part of asy's own testsuite, the new one is
called triangle and gives it a little more work to do

3. Added cylinder, a very simple 3D asymptote drawing (requires
a fully-capable asy linked with freeglut).

4. Cleanups in the content of bibtexidx.

5. Changes to which CJK fonts configure will look for - mostly more
fonts, particularly for Japanese and Korean, but I also replaced
the old fireflysung with OpenDesktop fonts.

6. Abort if multiple texlive installs are found (I use 'type -pa'
from bash to find programs, checking if they are for the first
texlive on the PATH is too much hassle),

7. Various corrections and fixups in ABOUT.

A summary of changes between the 20150110 release and the 20150601
release:

1. Slight alterations to how xindynonlua is run.

2. Add two tests for TikZ (blended-circles, and mosfet) and
check if the blend command is understood (it was new for 2014,
one of my distro images was stuck in TL2013).

3. Added a triskel logo on the title page of ABOUT, fixed some
formatting, added lists of which programs and packages are used
  by each test.

4. Add tests using biblatex-biber with "traditional" markup for
accents and extra letters, and a similar test using biblatex with
  bibtex.

5. Add a bibtexidx test to run bibtex (without biblatex) and
  makeindex.

6. Use kpsewhich to check for TeX components.

7. Rename it to latex-test, becasue the one thing it does not test
  is plain old TeX.

A summary of changes between the 20140821 release and the 20150110
release:

1. Force an error if xindy did not create an index.

2. Use CJK, if fonts are present.

3. Add a test for ConTeXt.

4. Rename the tests to better describe what they do.

5. Replace the Makefile by a configure script and Makefile.in.

6. Allow tests to be skipped even if present (useful for testing,
particularly when a test is known to not work on a particular
  build.

7. Add a test for xelatex.

8. A major overhaul of how OTF/TTF fonts re found (for lualatex and
xelatex) - in particular, use fonts known to texlive even if they
are not known to fontconfig (for a very limited range of fonts!),
prefer fonts shipped with texlive if they are available, and look
for a wider range of system fonts for CJK. For tests where both
Chinese (Simplified) and Japanese are created, allow the Chinese
or Japanese font to be preferred.

9. Add a 'paren' test which runs 'match_parens' : this is to test that
ruby is working, because some supplied texlive scripts use it.

10. Change the lualatex and xelatex files to use unicode for e.g.
smart quotes, ellipsis, en-dash instead of the old TeX markup.

11. Add ABOUT.{tex, pdf} to document these tests. In practice, I can
only edit this on _one_ of my machines because the others lack the
specified fonts. This uses sans-serif fonts, because I think they
  look better.

12. Clarify that there are different licenses for different items.
